With preheating reactants, 10% of CO2 are saved with less NOx as it is shown in the following figure
Pre-heating the oxygen and the natural gas in oxy-fuel furnaces allows to:
- Make the most of Oxy-combustion effectiveness
- Increase energy efficiency
- Improve CO2 and NOx reduction
- Have attractive payback time
